First thing that needs to be done is you need to go to this website http://www.xbox360-hacks.com/xbox360-live-region-demos.php . this site shows you how to set up a account in a new region complete with access to telephones and all things needed for registration. this is useful for downloading demos specific to that region. i would advise you to get both regions outside of america because i found useful information on both.
When setting up your account remember to click that you the option saying that you only with a silver account. finish completing the account process. from this point you will have access to game demos specific to that region and also a 1 month trial to xbox live
Go to systems in my xbox, click memberships, then redeem the membership and your done. xbox allows up to five silver accounts on any xbox
